Ration Card Kerala 2024:Apply, Check Status, Download Online

Under the National Food Security Act 2013, each state and UT of India issue ration cards to their permanent residents. All the schemes under this act like AAY are launched to provide food security to the poor.

The Civil Supplies Department of the Kerala Government issue ration card to the residents of Kerala. To enhance the Public Distribution System (PDS) government launched a Portal Called e-Service- Ration Card Management System. Using this Portal permanent residents of Kerala are able to access Online services related to Ration Card like applying for ration cards, downloading ration cards, tracking application status, Adding new and removing members to Ration Card, etc.

Kerala Government introduces a new Ration Card called Smart Ration Card which is a PVC card that provides more safety and durability than paper Ration Cards. Here is the list of Ration Card Kerala

Procedure to Apply Online for New Ration Card Kerala

For applying online you must do registration on the e-Services – Ration Card Management System Portal, of the Civil Supplies Department of Kerala Government ecitizen.civilsupplieskerala.gov.in. Then you will be able to apply online for a new ration card.

Registration for New Ration Card

First, go to the official website of e-Services – Ration Card Management System Portal, of Civil Supplies Department of Kerala Government ecitizen.civilsupplieskerala.gov.in.
Next, you will get the home page and you need to click on “Citizen“.
Next, click on the “Create New Account” link given below SIGN IN.
Next, you will get a Registration Form then first, click on the yes radio Button if you do not have any Ration Card before.

Next, Select Your Taluka Supply Office (TSO), set your unique User LOGIN ID and Password, and fill in your full Name, email ID, and Mobile number.
Next, fill in the Captcha code and click on the “SUBMIT” button.
After that, your Registration will be done and you will get a Success Message of Registration on your screen, click “OK“.
Next, you will get an e-mail to activate your User Account, check your mail, and activate your account by clicking Verification Link.
Next click on the Home Link given on the top menu to Log in.

First Log In to e-service (RCMS) for new Ration Card Kerala

Next, you will get the home page and you need to click on “Citizen“.
Next, fill in your User ID, Password, and Captcha code, and then click on the “SIGN IN” Button.

Next, you will get a User Dashboard with your Name on the Screen.
Next, click on the “e-Services” Link given on the top Menu bar.

Next, you will get a new page with a link to “New Ration Card“, click on that.

Next, you will get the Ration card Application form. First, scroll down and choose your Ration Card Owner type.

Next, fill in all the required Owner’s details and like personal details, id numbers, address details and upload a photo.
Next, fill in Gas connection details, electricity Connection details (if any), Water connection details, Pension details, and house project details (if have any).
Next, click on the “Save as Draft” button and then the “Next” button.

Adding Family Members and their Details

Next, Add Family Member details one by one which will be going to include in this Ration Card by clicking the “Add Member” button, after adding all click the “Save member” and the “Next”.
Next on the new page, Add bank details, and other details.
Next, upload members’ Aadhar cards, Ownership certificates, and other required documents.
Next, click the “Preview” button to check your whole filled details, and then click “print” to print the application form.
Next, submit the button by clicking on the “Submit” button and then make payment.
After, making the payment you will get a payment receipt print it by clicking “print”.
Next, click on the “Proceed to Final Submit” button and you will get a success message

Procedure to apply offline for Ration Card

For applying offline follow the simple steps given below.

First, go to the nearby FPS or Taluka Supply Office (TSO).
Ask for Ration Card Application Form.
Next, fill out the application form and attach the required support document with it.
Next, submit it to the same FPS/ Taluka Supply Office.
you will get your Ration card within or after 15 working days.

If you want to download an e-copy of the ration card then follow the simple steps given below

First, go to the official website of e-Services – Ration Card Management System Portal, of Civil Supplies Department of Kerala Government ecitizen.civilsupplieskerala.gov.in.
Next, you will get the home page and you need to click on “Citizen“.
Next, fill in your User ID, Password, and Captcha code, and then click on the “SIGN IN” Button
Next, click on the link “Print” given on the top menu. Next click on “Ration Card Print“.
Next, you will get a new page then enter your Application/ Ration Card number then click “Search”.

Next, your Transaction id will be generated automatically on the left side next, enter any one family member’s Aadhaar number and click the “Go” button.
Next, you will get a new page scroll down and click on the “print” button after that you will get your e-Ration Card on your device.
