UP Ration Card : In the leadership of Chief minister yogi Aditya Nath, the Government of Uttar Pradesh launched the flagship program, “Uttar Pradesh ration card scheme”.

About UP Ration Card

As per the old citizen charter, four ration cards are in circulation in Uttar Pradesh.

  • BPL ration card- BPL ration card will be provided for those families of the state who live below the poverty line. The annual income of BPL families should not exceed Rs.9000. Through this ration card, all the beneficiaries per family will get-
    • 23 kg of wheat,
    • 12 kg of rice,
    • 700 grams of sugar per unit per month,
    • Three liters of kerosene to the LPG gas connection holder,
    •  Five liters of kerosene per card per month to the holder without a LPG gas connection. 

 All the above facilities will be provided at the concessional price fixed by the government.

Ration Card Color: White

The price for BPL Ration Card scheme will be fixed by the District Magistrate which is printed on the front page of the card.

  • Annapurna Ration Card Scheme– This type of ration card will be provided to the older people who are 65 years of age or more and who are eligible for an old-age pension but they are not getting old age pension all the beneficiaries per family will get-
    • 10 kg wheat per month free.

 All the above facilities will be provided free of cost by the government.

Ration Card Color: Green

  • APL Ration Card– APL ration card will be provided to those state families who live above the poverty line. Through this ration card, all the beneficiaries per family will get-
    • 23 kg of wheat,
    • 12 kg of rice,
    • Three liters of kerosene to the LPG gas connection holder,
    •  Five liters of kerosene per card per month to the holder without a LPG gas connection. 

 All the above facilities will be provided at the concessional price fixed by the government.

Ration Card Color: Yellow

The price for the APL Ration Card scheme will be fixed by the District Magistrate, which is printed on the front page of the card.

  • Antyodaya Anna Yojana AAY ration card- AAY ration card will be provided to those poorest families living below the poverty line, whose annual income is less than Rs.9,000. (Maximum 15.33 percent of the number of BPL families earmarked for the state). Through this ration card, all the beneficiaries per family will get-
    • 23 kg of wheat at Rs.2 per kg,
    • Rs.3 per 700 grams of sugar per unit per month,
    • Three liters of kerosene to the LPG gas connection holder,
    •  Five liters of kerosene per card per month to the holder without a LPG gas connection. 

 All the above facilities will be provided at the concessional price fixed by the government.

The price for the APL Ration Card scheme will be fixed by the District Magistrate, which is printed on the front page of the card.

If you want to download an e-invoice(e challan) for fair price shop at the official FCS Ration Card UP Portal, then you have to follow the below process-

  • First, you have to visit the official Ration card Portal of the Uttar Pradesh state government at fcs.up.gov.in
  • On the home page of the official Portal, you have to find the “Fair Price Shop e-Challan” option. Click on it.
  • By doing so, you will be redirected to the e-challan download page.
  • Next, you have to select your “District” from the drop-down list.
  • After that, select “Area” as “Urban” or “Rural.”
  • Next, you have to select the “Body Development Section” from the drop-down list.
  • Next, you have to enter your “Shop Code Number.
