How to Apply for CTET 2024 December Exam
Follow these steps to apply for the CTET 2024 December cycle:
- Step1-Visit the official website: Candidate needs to visit the official Website to Apply online at ctet.nic.in.
- Step2- Navigate to Candidate Activity Section: Candidate needs to scroll down & find the Candidate Activity section. After that, click on “Apply for CTET Dec-2024” link.
Once done, a new page will open.
- Step3- Click On New Registration: Now, Candidate needs to click on “New Registration” option.
Once done, Instructions page will appear on the screen.
- Step4- Read the Instructions Carefully Before Apply Online: Candidate are advised to read the Instructions provided in official Portal. It contains the important details for filling the application form, document upload and fee submission details etc. Once done, scroll down, please check the acknowledgement box (Declaration box) and click on the “Click Here to Proceed” option.
Once done, CTET Application form will appear on the screen.
- Step5- Fill the CTET Application form: Now, Candidate need to duly fill in the CTET online application form.
- Step6- Upload Required Documents: After That Candidate needs to upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature and other required documents(if Required) .
- Step7-Pay the CTET application fee: Now candidate needs to pay CTET Application fee online via debit/credit card or net banking.
- Step8-Submit the CTET Application : Please submit the application. Don’t forget to download and take a printout of the Application pdf for future reference. Make sure you have saved your credentials which will be used for CTET admit card download process and to check the CTET result .
CTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 (December)

1) For Primary Level (Classes I-V):
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR
- Graduation with 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
2)For Upper Primary Level (Classes VI-VIII):
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year B.Ed. OR
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
