UPSC CDS 1 2025 Recruitment : Vacancy Details

The UPSC CDS 1 2025 examination will recruit for the following posts:

UPSC CDS 1 2025 Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

• Candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
• Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha
• subjects of Nepal.
• A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination provisionally subject to the necessary certificate being given to him/her by the Govt. before declaration of result by UPSC.

Educational Qualifications:

• IMA & OTA: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university.
• INA: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Air Force Academy: Bachelor’s Degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Age Limits:

• IMA & INA: Candidates born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2007.
• Air Force Academy: Candidates born between 02 January 2002 and 01 January 2006.
• OTA: Candidates born between 02 January 2001 and 01 January 2007.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹200
• SC/ST/Females: Exempted
• Payment can be made online via net banking, debit card, or credit card.

How to Apply for UPSC CDS 1 2025

Step1-Visit the Official Website: Candidate needs to visit the official portal UPSC Portal. After that click on the “Exam Notification: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025” link.

Step2- Click On the Online Apply Link: After that, click on the UPSC CDS 1 recruitment 2025 apply link.

Step3- Click on the “New Registration” link: After that, candidate needs to click on the new registration link on the official UPSC OTR Portal.

Step4-Complete One-Time Registration (OTR): Now candidate needs to provide personal details & other details to complete the Registration.

Step5-Fill the Application Form: After the successful OTR Registration. Candidate needs to Log in and complete the CDS 1 2025 application form by providing all the required details.

Step6-Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and relevant documents.

Step7–Pay Application Fee: Use the available online payment modes to pay the applicable fee.

Step8-Preview and Submit: Verify all details before submitting the form. Once done please submit the application form.

Step9-Print the Application Form: Please take a printout of final application form for future reference.
