PMAY(U) Beneficiary List 2022-23: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Scheme was extended by the Union Cabinet till 31st December 2024 for the completion of already sanctioned houses. The PMAY-U scheme was launched in June 2015, to provide pucca houses to the citizens of India who were living in kaccha houses or rent. The original deadline of the Housing for All mission was set for march,2022.
Till now under this mission, 122.69 Lakhs houses are sanctioned, 103.1 Lakhs houses grounded, and 62.21 lakhs houses completed.
The total central assistance since 2015, released by the central government has been Rs.1,20,130 crores out of 2.03 lakh crores committed.
Out of these 122.3 lakh houses, 40 lakh houses have been demanded by the states and union territories in the last two years. So it will take another 2 years to meet this demand.
Therefore, on August 11, Union Cabinet decided to extend the PMAY(U) scheme date till 31, December 2024 at the request of states/UTs for the construction of the Remaining houses sanctioned before 31, march 2022.

How to check Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana PMAY(U) beneficiary list 2022-223?
If you have applied for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana earlier and you want to check whether you are on the beneficiary list or not follow the steps given below
- Go to the official website of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana pmaymis.gov.in.
- Click on the search Beneficiary link on the screen.
- From the drop-down menu click ‘Beneficiary wise fund release’.
- Enter your mobile number and click ‘send OTP’.
- If you are on the beneficiary list you will get OTP otherwise a pop message will show on your screen ‘There are no fund release details available for this beneficiary’.
- If you also want to check with your Aadhar
- Click on ‘search’ a drop-down will show click on “search Beneficiary”
- Enter your Aadhar number and click “show”.
- Your data will show on screen if you are included in the beneficiary list.
