• Under the citizen services click on “Character verification” option.
• Once done, you will be redirected to the new page.
• After that you have to create your account by registering yourself at the official Portal.
• Now Login into your account using valid username and password.
• Verify the captcha code and click on “Log in” button.
• Now click on “चरित्र प्रमाणपत्र अनुरोध” or “character certificate request” option.
• Fill all the required details.
• Upload all the required documents (if any).
• Once done, Pay the application fee using the available payment methods.
• Now you need to wait for 15 days.
• After 15 days you can download your character verification certificate pdf from the official Portal.

How to apply for character verification certificate offline?

If want to apply for the character verification certificate offline then follow the below process-

• First, you have to get a certificate from your gram Pradhan or panchayat head.
• Next, go to the nearest police station & get the application form, fill it and attach the above certificate with the application form and submit it.
• Wait for the approval of your request, you will get notified using SMS or via email.
• Once the certificate get approved by the authorized person you will have your character verification certificate on your email id.
