Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) was introduced by the central government of India to Increase transparency to the e-Procurement tender Process.

The Central Public Procurement has two modules :

  • e-Publishing System: it helps all the Central Government Organizations to publish their Tender Enquiries, Corrigenda and Award of Contract details. The system also enables users to migrate to full electronic procurement mode.
  • e-Procurement System: It enables the Tenderers to download the Tender Schedule free of cost and then submit the bids online through this portal.

Objectives of Central Public Procurement Portal

The main objective of the Central Public Procurement Portal is to bring transparency in the tendering process. By the CPPP Portal, the central government of India took a step towards e-solution of the tendering process in various government organizations & Public Sector Units (PSUs). Anyone can perform bid submission securely through the official portal.
e-Procurement makes the tendering process easier & helps the Government of India to track and monitor the e tendering process. It is the single point access to the information on procurements made across various Ministries & Government Departments.

If you want to log in at the official Central Public Procurement Portal (e-procurement Portal known as CPPP), then follow the process:

  • First, you need to visit the Central Public Procurement official Portal.
  • On the right sidebar of the home page, you have to find the “Login” Section.
  • In case you don’t see the login section, then look for the “login as user” or “User login” option. 
  • Next, click on the “login as a user” button.
  • By doing so, you will be redirected to the login page.
  • Next, you have to enter your “CPPP login Id” with valid “Password” & then verify the captcha code.
  •  After that, click on the “Login” button.
  •  By doing so, you can log in to your account at the Official CPPP portal.

If you have forgotten your login password or you want want to generate a new password at Central Public Procurement Portal, then you can generate a new password by following the Process:

  • First, you need to visit the Central Public Procurement official Portal.
  • After that, you have to find the login section.
  • Under the login section, click on the “Forget Password” option
  • By doing so, you will be redirected to the new password generation page.
  • Next, you have to enter your valid user id.
  • Once done, now you will see two options “new user” or “Forget password.”
  • If you are a new user at Official Central Public Procurement Portal & want to generate a new password & update your details, select the “new user” option. After that, click on the “Update Mobile Number/ Email id” option.
  • If you have forgotten your old password, you have to choose the “forget password” option.
  •  After that, you have to click on the “Send verification code” option.
  • By doing so, you will receive a verification code on Correspondence Email/ Registered Mobile Number.
  • The verification codes are valid for 900 seconds.
  • After that, verify the Code.
  • Once done, you will be redirected to the new password generation page.
  • Here you have to enter a new password, click on submit button.
  • By doing so, you can generate a new password at Central Public Procurement Portal.
