Download e-Aadhar online: The government of India provides a unique Identification number called “Aadhar Card” to all its citizens under the Aadhar Act 2016. Aadhar Card nowadays is an essential ID proof to get all subsidies, benefits, and services under the Centre and state government.

it is also made mandatory to link your Aadhaar to various services provided by the public service departments under Centre and state.

what is Aadhaar?

Aadhaar is an identity proof provided by the central government to all the citizens of India. It is an unique Id that gives you unique identification in India using demographic and biometric deduplication.

The Aadhaar number is a 12-digit random number generated online and issued by the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

What is e-Aadhar?

A digital copy of Aadhar is known as e-Aadhar which is protected with a password (combination of first four letters of your name with your birth year), it is equally valid as physical Aadhar Card’.

How to download e Aadhar and print Aadhar?

• Go the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Next you will get new screen click “Download Aadhar”.
• In the next page you will get 3 options to download Aadhar
  • By Aadhar number
  • Using Enrolment Number
  • By Virtual ID
• Choose any one option according to you fill the captcha code then click “Send OTP”.
• Next you will get OTP enter the OTP and click “verify & download”
• Next you will get a page to download and print Aadhar.

How to Order Aadhar PVC card at myAadhar?

Note: – if your EID is still in process, you’ll be unable to place a request for card

If you want to order Aadhar PVC Card then follow the below process-

• Go the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Next you will get new screen click “Order Aadhar PVC card”.
• You will get 2 options to Order
  • By Aadhar number
  • By Enrolment ID
• Choose one of the options according to you then enter captcha code.
• Click “my number is not Registered” then enter mobile number and click “Send”.
• Next you will get OTP, enter the OTP then click “submit”.
• Next click “Term and Condition” read carefully then click “close”.
• Then you will get an information pop-up click “close”.
• Then you see a new page read information related to payment/cancellation/Refunds carefully.
•  Next click “Make Payment” you can use Net banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or other available online options to make the payment.
• After successful payment you can download receipt and will get a text message on your mobile with Service Request Number (SRN)
• Resident can track the status of SRN till dispatch of Aadhar Card on Check Aadhar Card Status
• SMS containing AWB (Airway Bill Number) number will also be sent once dispatched from DoP (i.e. India Speed Post). Resident can further track delivery status by visiting DoP website.

What details will Update in the Aadhar card online?

You can update your Name, Date of Birth (DoB), Gender, Address and Language through Update Aadhar online Service. Your mobile number is must registered in Aadhar for update.

Following limits are applicable for the update of Aadhaar information:

• Name: Twice in Life Time
• Gender: Once in Life Time
• Date of Birth: Once in life time subject to condition that present status of the DoB is declared/approximate

If you want to update Aadhar card Details then follow the below process-

• Go the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Next you will get new screen click “Check Enrolment & Update Status”.
• In next page enter your enrolment ID/ Service request Number (SRN)/ URN.
• Then fill Captcha Code and click “submit”
• You will get a new page where you can update your Name, DOB, Gender, and Address details.
• Upload the required proofs.
• Last submit the form after read information carefully.

How to verify mobile number/ Email registered with Aadhar card online

If you want to verify your mobile number / email registered with Aadhar card then follow the below process-

• Go the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Next you will get new screen click “Verify Email/Mobile”.
• You will get new page, if you want to verify mobile number enter Aadhar number, mobile number, fill captcha and then click “Send OTP”. or

• If you want to verify Email check “verify email address” then enter Aadhar number, email id, fill captcha and then click “Send OTP”.

• You will get OTP on your mobile number, next enter the mobile number and then click “verify”.
• You will get a success message of verification.

How to Retrieve EID / Aadhar number online

If you want to Retrieve your EID / Aadhar number online then follow the below process-

• Go the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
• Next you will get new screen click “Retrieve EID / Aadhar number”.
• You will get a new page check on any radio button against Aadhar Number or EID which you want to retrieve.
• Next enter name and mobile number or email, fill captcha and then click send “OTP”
• You will get OTP on your mobile, next enter OTP and then click “submit”
• You will get a message on your mobile with Aadhar number or EID.
