Educational Qualification:

Science Subject Group:

• 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English.
• OR 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT) with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English.
• OR 2-Year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English.

Other Than Science Subject Group:

• 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English.
• OR 2-Year Vocational Course with a minimum of 50% marks (aggregate) and 50% marks in English.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 17.5 years
• Maximum Age: 21 years
• Candidates born between 1st January 2005 and 1st July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.

Physical Standards Criteria:

• Height: Minimum 152.5 cm
• Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm

The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his/ her chest with his/ her name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard, head gear etc., in comparison to the photograph may result in cancellation of candidature for STAR online examination and Phase-II.
• Candidate’s left hand thumb impression image (Size 10 KB to 50 KB).
