Apply for PM Maandhan Yojana 2022: Pradhan Mantri Maandhan Yojana is pan India scheme to provide old age protection and social security to the farmers, unorganized sector workers, self-employed person and traders. This scheme is implemented by the Ministry of Labour & Employment and the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare under Government of India.
Using this scheme small and Marginal farmers, unorganized workers, self-employed workers, and traders whose monthly income is 15000 rupees or less and belong to the entry age group of 18-40 years and should not be covered under New Pension Scheme (NPS). Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) scheme or Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), and he/she should not be an income tax payer can apply for the old age security pension.
In this scheme 127 occupation/profession are recognized who are Eligible to enroll on the official Portal .

Contribution by the applier
The Applier contributions to PM-SYM shall be made through ‘auto-debit’ facility from his/ her savings bank account/ Jan- Dhan account. The applier is required to contribute the prescribed contribution amount from the age of joining PM-SYM till the age of 60 years. National Pension Scheme for Traders and Self-Employed Persons Yojana is a government scheme meant for old age protection and social security of Shopkeeper’s, Retail traders and Self-Employed persons.
Eligibility
- For self-employed, shop owners, retail owners and other vyaparees of India.
- Entry Age between 18 to 40 years
- Annual turnover should not exceed Rs 1.5 crore

Follow the procedure given below
- Go to the official website maandhan.in
- Next you will get home screen of Maandhan then click on “Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana”.
- Next click on “click here to apply now”.
- On next page click “self Enrollment”.
- Next you will get a pop-up then enter mobile number and click on “procced”.
- Next fill captcha then click “Generate OTP”
- Next enter OTP you receive then click on “Procced”.
- On next page you get a dashboard then click on enrollment section next on “Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana”.
- On next page enter your Aadhaar number, Aadhaar linked mobile number, email, name, gender, DoB,
- Address, sub-category, select your occupation, click on “NO” on radio buttons, enter your eshram UAN number, tick declaration, and then click “submit”.
- On next page you get basic details section where you need to verify your details using any of the three options (we suggest you to do verification using OTP), tick on OTP radio button and then click “Verifying using Bio Authentication”.
- On next page tick declaration and then click “Generate OTP”.
- Next you will get an OTP on your mobile number then enter your OTP on the screen and click “verify OTP”.
- On next page you will need to fill your bank details like IFSC code, bank name, bank account name, bank account holder name, branch name, account type.
- Next fill nominee details if any.
- Next scroll down you will get your monthly contribution details.
- Next read declaration carefully and then mark tick against declaration and click “submit & procced”.
- On next page you will get message of “Application submitted successfully” below that you see “print mandate form” link click on it.
- Next you will get a mandate form on your screen with your all details ,you need to print it then do signature, next scan it and then upload it. - After uploading you will get payment option of your first monthly contribution then click payment link do payment and print receipt.
