Delhi Covid e Pass : Due to increased numbers of covid-19 cases in Delhi, Delhi Disaster management Authority (DDMA) announced a night and weekend curfew in NCT of Delhi, during the second wave of Covid-19. But the DDMA gives some exemptions to the persons related to the ‘essential goods and services’ and to the government officers for their essential services to the society.

Currently due to the successful execution of worlds largest Covid vaccination program, situation is getting far better day by day and things are back to the normalcy. So, in present condition there is no need of Covid e passes to travel in Delhi.

DELHI GOVERNMENT LAUNCHED DELHI Covid e PASS

After one year of lockdown many states of the country are now in normal form but in Delhi numbers of cases are increasing rapidly day by day, on Sunday Delhi recorded 290 COVID cases with a positivity rate of 0.55%, people are vulnerable to this new corona variant omicron taking this concern seriously Delhi Government announced night and weekend curfew in the NCT of Delhi, and also exempted some persons from this curfew who are connected to the ‘Essential Goods and Services’. Delhi gov. also provided Delhi E-Pass for movement of persons connected to the ‘Essential Goods and Services’.

WHAT IS DELHI E-PASS?

Delhi Covid e-pass also known as Delhi Curfew Pass is a digitally generated valid pass provided by government to persons related to “essential goods and services” or “exempted category” for their free movement in night and weekend curfew. Engaged individuals carry either hard or soft copy of this ID.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR DELHI E-PASS?

  • Private medical personnel such as doctors and nursing staff.
  • paramedical and other hospital services such as diagnostic centres, clinics and pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies.
  • People running shops dealing in food, groceries, fruits and vegetables, dairy and milk, meat and fish, animal fodder, telecom and internet cable services, pharmaceuticals and medicines, ophthalmologists.
  • People related to LPG, petrol pumps, CNG, petroleum and gas retail and storage outlets, power generation. people related to transmission and distribution, manufacturing units of essential commodities, aviation and related services.

Important Note: E-pass is for those who engaged in provided essential services but not have valid ID.

Important note:  e-Pass possessed by a person on or after January 4 (from the date of issuance of DDMA order) for movement connected to ‘Essential goods and services or ‘Exempted category’, shall be valid during the entire period of imposition of night curfew and weekend curfew.

 If you already hold a curfew e-Pass (inclusive of Night/Weekend curfew e-Passes), issued after January 4, you DO NOT

have to re-apply. Your e-Pass shall automatically be considered valid.

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR DELHI E-PASS FOR SINGLE PERSON

  1. Valid ID proof like Aadhar etc.
  2. Letter from your employer/ owner of the firm / outlet / establishment that your firm / outlet / establishment is associated in providing above specified essential services/commodities AND
    That the services of you as employee, are essentially required in the smooth delivery/providing of above referred services during the curfew.

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR DELHI E-PASS FOR BULK EMPLOYEES

  1. ID proof of the Proprietor/Director/Owner of the unit
  2. GST Registration or Factory License or MCD License or PAN Card of the unit
  3. Request on Letterhead of the unit requesting e-Passes for employees

Important note: If your application for e-Passes is approved, each of the employees will receive a SMS on their contact number with the link to download their e-Pass. So, make sure the correct contact number(10 digit mobile number) of each of the employees is entered.

HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR DELHI E-PASS at delhi.gov.in

  1. Click on the above link or go to the portal delhi.gov.in
  2. After click on link you will find an interface with two options first is for status and second for fresh applicant.
  3. Go for fresh applicant and choose what you applying for either single person or for bulk.
  4. Fill the required details properly.
  5. Last submit the form.
  6. You will get notification of your e-pass as soon as possible.

HOW TO CHECK DELHI E-PASS STATUS

  1. Click on the above link or go to the portal delhi.gov.in
  2. You will find status link on top of the interface.
  3. Enter the 7 digit of e-pass Id.
  4. Then you will get your e-pass status
