Kerala PSC Thulasi Portal: Public Service Commission Thulasi Official Portal is an excellent initiative of the state government of Kerala to provide employment services to the citizens of Kerala using the one-time registration portal.
One-time registration allows people of Kerala to register them on the official portal. Once you have completed the registration process, you can add your qualification details to your profile. You will get notifications on your dashboard for current and future recruitment processes as per your qualifications.
The official portal of PSC Thulasi for Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is open for the registration & login process. After the Profile completion, you get notification of various state government jobs. In case if you are eligible for a specific state government job, you can directly apply for that job on the KPSC Thulasi Portal.

Eligibility for registration at Kerala PSC Thulasi Portal
If you want to enroll yourself at the official Thulasi Profile registration portal, then here are the eligibility criteria-
- You must be a citizen of Kerala.
- The minimum age of the applicant needs to be 21 years.
- The applicant should not be more than 5o years of age.
- You must be a graduate, post-graduate, or professional degree holder from a recognized educational institution
Documents required for registration at PSC Thulasi Portal
If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria & want to register yourself at the web portal of PSC Thulasi, here is the list of required documents that you will need at the time of registration:
- Scanned or digital photograph of the you in JPG format , maximum 30 KB size, (dimension: 150px Width & 100px Height).
- Scanned signature (black or blue ink, background white) of you in JPG Format, maximum size should be 30 KB (dimensions: 150px Width & 100px Height).
- An ID card recognized by the government –
- Aadhar Card or,
- Voter ID card or,
- PAN Card, etc.
- (Optional) Document for registration is the domicile of the Kerala state, but you will need it while applying for exams and jobs.
New User One-Time Registration Process at the KPSC Thulasi Portal
At the official KPSC Thulasi portal, you can not register yourself multiple times as the name suggests; it is a one-time registration portal.
If you want to register yourself at the official KPSC Thulasi Portal, then you have to follow the below process-
- First, you have to visit the official KPSC Portal at https://thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in/.
- Next, you have to find & click on the “new registration” or “signup” option.
- By doing so, you will be redirected to the “Registration page.”
- Next, you have to enter your personal details –
- Your name,
- Date of birth,
- Gender,
- Father’s name,
- Mother’s name,
- Religion,
- Cast,
- Mobile Number,
- Sub Cast,
- Reservation Group (as per the current norms)
- After that, you have to select the identity card option from the dropdown menu as follows-
- Aadhar,
- Account Number (Nationalized or scheduled bank),
- Conductor License,
- Driving License,
- Id for central Employees,
- Id or PH issued by PH department,
- Id for university or institutes,
- Id from Bar council,
- Id of ex-servicemen.
- Pan Card,
- Passport,
- Pension for state employees,
- Voter Id card.
- Next, you have to enter id proof details like id number, etc.
- After that, you have to enter your “Aadhar Number” if available.
- Next, you have to enter a new “user id (without space) & confirm it by re-entering,” which will be used to log into your account at the KPSC Portal.
- Next, you have to enter a new “Password” & confirm it by re-entering it, which will be used to log into your account at the KSPC Portal.
- After that, you have to verify the captcha code.
- Once done, please check the declaration box and click on the “Register” button.
- By doing so, you can register yourself at the official KPSC Kerala Thulasi Portal.
Resize photograph and signature at the Thulasi Kerala PSC portal
If you are facing any issues while resizing your scanned photograph and signature while uploading on the KPSC Thulasi Portal, then the official portal has the facility where you can resize the photographs in the required dimension as follows-
- First, you have to visit the official KPSC Thulasi Portal.
- On the portal’s home page, inside the general section, you will find and click on the “Resize Photograph/Signature” option.
- Next, you have to upload your scanned “photograph” & “signature,” which you want to resize. Image files (JPG format, up to 1MB, bigger than 150 X 200) can be resized at the official portal.
- Once done, the uploaded photograph & signature will be resized in the required dimension.
- You can download the resized images by clicking on the “download” option.
- Now you can use these resized images when you require them (in the time of profile creation etc.).
- By doing so, you can resize the photograph & signature at the official KPSC Portal.
Login at the KPSC Portal (thulasi.psc.kerala.gov.in)
If you want to log into your account at the official KPSC portal, then follow the below process-
- First, you have to visit the official KPSC Thulasi Portal.
- On the left sidebar of the home page, you will see the “Registered user Login” section.
- Next, you have to enter your valid “User Id (without space)” & “Password.”
- After that, verify the captcha code (Case sensitive) and click on the “Log in” button.
- By doing so, you can log in to your account at the Kerala Public service commission Thulasi Portal.
Forget the password, then how to reset the password at the KPSC Portal
In Case you have forgotten your login password, then you can simply reset the password by following the below process-
- First, you have to visit the official KPSC Thulasi Portal.
- On the left sidebar of the home page, you will see the “Registered user Login” section.
- Next, click on the “Forget Password” option.
- By doing so, a pop-up will appear on the screen.
- Next, you have to enter your “user Id,” “date of birth,” “Id proof given in profile (in the time of registration),” and “Id proof number” at the required fields.
- After that, verify the captcha code (Access code, which is Case sensitive), and click on the “Reset” button.
- Once done, your password to Log into KPSC Portal will be reset successfully.
- A temporary password will be your new password for your next login. Your new password will be a combination of the first six characters of your “user id” & date of birth.
- For example, if your user id is “anilthiruvallam” & your date of birth is “21/12/1980,” then your temporary password will be “anilth21121980.”
- Don’t forget to change your password when you log in with the temporary password next time at the KPSC Portal.
- By doing so, you can reset your password at the official KPSC Portal.
SMS service option available at the KPSC Portal
The Kerala Public service commission offers an SMS service option to all users. In case the user forgets “user id” or “password,” then the user can know the “user id” or reset the password using the SMS service available at the Kerala Thulasi PSC portal.
Know your user Id using the SMS service option
In case you have forgotten your user id, then you have to follow the below process to find the user id-
- From your registered mobile number, you have to send an SMS as “KL USR” (KL<space>USR).
- SMS the above code (KL USR) one of the numbers mentioned at the official portal as 166 or 51969 or 9223166166 from the mobile no. which was last updated in your Profile.
- Once done, you will receive an SMS with your user id.
- By doing so, you can know your user id using the SMS service available At the KPSC Thulasi Portal.
In case you have forgotten your password, reset your password using the SMS service option
In case you have forgotten your password, then you have to follow the below process to reset the password-
- From your registered mobile number, you have to send an SMS as “KL USR RST UserID DOB” (KL<space>USR<space>RST<space>your user id<space>your date of birth).
- For example, if your User ID is aniltvm and your Date of Birth is 16/04/1984, the SMS format will be KL USR RST aniltvm 16041984.
- SMS the above code (KL USR RST UserID DOB) one of the numbers mentioned at the official portal as 166 or 51969 or 9223166166 from the mobile no. which was last updated in your Profile.
- Once done, you will receive an SMS with “password reset successfully.”
- A temporary password will be your new password for your next login. Your new password will be a combination of the first six characters of your “user id” & date of birth.
- For example, if your user id is “anilthiruvallam” & your date of birth is “21/12/1980,” then your temporary password will be “anilth21121980.”
- Don’t forget to change your password when you log in with the temporary password next time at the KPSC Portal.
- By doing so, you can reset your password using the SMS service available at the KPSC Portal.
Process of new user profile creation / completion at KPSC Portal
Once you have done the registration process successfully, a congratulation message will appear on the screen. After that, you have to click on the “Login” button.
Next, you have to login into your account using the valid user id & password.
Once done, you will be redirected to the new page where you have to enter the following details-
Personal Details
- Personal information
- Now, you have to enter your personal details like “name,” “date of birth,” “gender,” “religion,” “caste,” “sub caste,” “reservation group(as per the current norms),” “father’s name,” “mother’s name,” “identification mark,” & “Nationality.” After that, click on the “save & proceed” button.
Address details
- Communication (Address details) details
- After that, you have provide your “permanent address” & “Communication /Present address” details like “house name/Number,” “street/place,” “post office,” “state,” “district,” “taluk,” “local body type,” “local body,” & “village” in second step of profile creation.
- In “e-contact” section you have to provide your email id with your mobile number.
- Next, click on “save & proceed” button.
Upload Documents
- Upload Photograph
- Next, you have to upload your scanned photograph (Dimension 150*200px, max size- 30kb).
- Your name & date of photo taken must be inscripted in black color text with white rectangular background at the bottom of the photograph.
- please check the all the declaration boxes.
- Once done, click on “save & proceed” button.
- Upload Signature
- Next step is to upload your signature (dimension- 150*100px, color- black or blue ink, background- white).
- Don’t forget to check the declaration box.
- After that, click on the “Save & Proceed” button.
Review & Submit
- Preview & submit
- Now, you will see the complete information which you have provided earlier.
- Next, you have to verify that all the details shown on the form are correct.
- Once done, don’t forget to check the last “I agree” declaration box, which state that “I agree that the above information is correct & complete to the best of my knowledge and belief.”
- After that, take a print of your profile form.
- Once done, click on the submit button.
- By doing so, you will get a congratulation msg on your screen.
Now, you will be redirected to the profile dashboard where you have to provide few other details as below-
Accept the necessary declarations
- Now, you have to click on the “accept the necessary declaration” option.
- Select the appropriate option “yes” or “no” as shown in the above image.
- Next, verify the captcha code (access code is case sensitive).
- Next, click on the save button.
Add educational qualification
- First, you have to click on the “add educational qualification” option in the profile dashboard at KPSC Portal.
- After that, you have to add your educational qualification one by one like 10th, 12th, graduation, post graduation or any other technical degree you hold.
- For this you have to provide details like “qualification level,” “qualification,” “subject,” “issuing authority,” “stream,” “percentage of mark,” “Grade,” “month & year of passing the exam,” “Result classification,” “register number(enrollment number),” “remarks(if any).”
- Once done, verify the captcha code (case sensitive).
- Next, click on the save button.
- you have to repeat the process every time you want to new qualification.
Add details of known languages
- Now, you have to click on the “add known language & mother tongue details” option at the profile dashboard page.
- After that select the “known languages” & “Mother tongue” from the dropdown menu and select the check box which ever applies.
- once done, click on the save button.
How to apply for the jobs at the Kerala Thulasi PSC portal
If you want to apply for the jobs at the official Kerala public service commission Thulasi Portal, then follow the below process-
- First, visit the official portal. After that, register yourself at the official KPSC portal.
- Once done, Login into your account at the portal.
- Next, complete the user profile by adding the all required details and then upload the required documents.
- Now, you have to click on the “Notifications” option on the Profile dashboard.
- By doing so, you will be redirected to the notification page.
- You will have all the latest Kerala PSC jobs (recruitment) notification in this page.
- Now, select the job notification in which you want to apply. After that, check the eligibility criteria & other details.
- If your education qualification and age does not meet the eligibility criteria for a certain job then it will shows you that you are ineligible for job.
- If you are eligible then you just have click on the “apply now” button.
- By doing this, job application form will appear on the screen with your details, make sure all the details are correct and valid.
- Please don’t forget to add any other details which is asked in the job application form.
- Once done, check all the declaration (if any) and click on the “submit” button.
- By doing this you will successfully applied for the job.
- Now, you can see the past applied job application form by visiting the “My application” page.
- By doing so, you can apply for the KPSC Thulasi portal jobs.
