Rajasthan government launches a Portal called e-Mitra where permanent residents of Rajasthan will be able to apply and take benefits of the various services and welfare schemes of the government. This is a great initiative toward e-governance and brings more transparency, and effectiveness to the administrative system of the state, and helps the citizens to avail of these services on time.

Categories of Rajasthan Ration Card

Different Categories of Ration Cards are issued by the Food and Civil Supplies Department of the Rajasthan Government to the concerned eligible families/ residents of the Rajasthan State.

Documents Required for new Rajasthan Ration Card

If you do not have any Ration Card before / have an offline issued ration card

• Passport Size Photo of Head of Family (Applicant) (10 KB<Size<20 KB).
• Old ration card if any or Affidavit
• A Residential Certificate
• Aadhar Number of Family Members & Head
• A filled hard copy of the Application form

How to make an SSO id to apply for a new Ration Card?

If you want to make an SSO id on eMitra portal then follow the simple steps given below.

• first, go to the official website of eMitra portal of Rajasthan emitra.rajasthan.gov.in.
• Next, you will get the Home page of eMitra Rajasthan then click on the “Login” button given at the top of the website.

• Next, you will get eMitra Login Form then click on “Registration“.

• Next, click on “google sign” if you are a permanent resident of Rajasthan State.

• Next, you will be redirected to the new page where you need to select your email id.
• On the next page, you will get your SSO id and you need to set Your SSO id Password, confirm your password and fill in your mobile number, and then, click on the ” Register” button.
• Next, you will get a success message of SSO registration with SSO id.
• So next you will be able to Login SSO through this ID and Password.

How to apply for a new Rajasthan’s Ratio Card?

If you are a permanent resident of Rajasthan and want to apply for a new Ration Card Online then Follow the simple steps given below.

• first, go to the official website of eMitra portal of Rajasthan emitra.rajasthan.gov.in.
• Next, you will get the Home page of eMitra Rajasthan then click on the “Login” button given at the top of the website.

• Next, you will get the Login form for Rajasthan Single Sign ON (SSO) then, you need to login through SSO id and Password.

• After login, you will get a User Dashboard where you need to click on “Utility”.

• On the next page, enter “new Ration Card Form1” and select it, and then click the “ok” button.

• On the next page, select your area Devlopment Officer Office name where you want to apply for a Ration card then click on “Continue“
• On the next page, you will get Form1 on your screen and you need to fill in the required details like your Panchayat, Village/ward name, Name of the applicant for which card will issued, Father’s name of the applicant, house number if have any, Locality name, Pin number, Mobile number same as filled in the offline Application form.

• Next, click on the “Submit” button.
• Next, you will get a new page then choose Form no, Ration Card Type. And then enter your Voter ID number if have one, and Applicant Name in English in Persona Information Section.

• Next, fill in your Permanent and Temporary address details, then Residence type, Time period, Occupation type, and alternate mobile number if have any.

• Next, select your Gas connection status, Gas Agency Company Name, & Gas Agency Name then fill in your Gas Connection Number, Total Annual Income, select whether you are an Income payer or not, and Bank Details(not necessary to add bank details). And then last click on the “Save” button.

• Next, you will get a success message and you need to scroll down the page until found Add/ Edit New Member section.

• Next, click on the “Edit” to update the details of the Head Member like Mother Name, Aadhaar Number (UID), Voter ID Number (EPIC code), Date of Birth, PAN number, and select the relation of the member with Applicant after Updating the details click on the “Update” button.

• Next, you will get a success message scroll down the page until found ADD/Edit New Member section then fills in the details of the new member you want to add in the same manner as filled above, and then click “Add New Member“.

• Next, add all the members one by one using the same process until you add whole family members.
• After adding whole family members’ details, upload a photo & signature(not necessary) of the Head of the Family(Applicant) then click on the “Save” button.
• After that upload the Application form & Documents file and then click on the “Preview” button.

• Next, you will get a new Tab, click on “After correction” then you will see your Ration Card, check all the details carefully then close the tab.
• If you want to do some corrections then do it and then click the “Verify” button after correction.
• Next, you will get a Form Verified Message on the top of the form then scroll down and click the “Generate Token and Send To Process” button.
• Next, you will get a Success Message with a Token Number on your Screen.

So this is the complete process of Applying for a new Ration Card. After verification from the corresponding Development Officer Office, you will be able to download your Ration Card Online on this same Portal. if all the details will found correct. otherwise, it will be sent back and you can resubmit the application after correcting the details or adding the documents for which the application is denied.

Check Rajasthan Ration Card Status

If you have applied for Ration Card, and want to check your Ration Card status online on your mobile or desktop/ laptop, then follow the simple steps given below.

• First, go to the official website of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Rajasthan food.raj.nic.in
• Next, you will get the home page of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Rajasthan
• Next, scroll down the page and click on the “Ration Card” given on “महत्वपूर्ण जन- उपयोगी सूचनायें” menu.

• Next, click on the link “Ration Card Application Status“.
• On the next page, you will get two options to check the Status of the application for the Ration Card.

• Next, click on the circle(radio button) against “Form Number” then enter your Application Form Number on the search bar and then click on the “Check Status“.
• On the next page, you will get your Ration Card Application Status.

How to Search Ration Card Rasthan Online?

• First, go to the official website of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Rajasthan food.raj.nic.in
• Next, you will get the home page of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Rajasthan
• Next, scroll down the page and click on the “Ration Card” given on “महत्वपूर्ण जन- उपयोगी सूचनायें” menu

• Next, click on the link “राशन कार्ड और राशन वितरण विवरण देखें“.
• on the next, page you will get a Form to search Ration Card with two options first by ration card number or by village option
• if you have Ration Card no. then fill in all details on the left side and then click “Search“.

• or if you do not have the ration card number then search by village option given on the right side and click “Search”.
• Next, you will get all the details of the Ration card holder list in the village.

• if you found your Name in the list then click on your Ration number and you will get a new page with all your Ration Card with photo on it.

How to Download Ration Card?

For Ration Card go to the nearby CSE center or eMitra shop with your Application Number to download and print the Ration Card.
